We have an immediate opening available for an Account Relationship Manager (ARM). Create business relationships and generate sales leads with high-level contacts through face-to-face client site visits. Maintain an ongoing business relationship with current clients to facilitate future sales. Work in conjunction with a specific field sales team. Work under general supervision of Director of Sales. Moderate skills with high level of proficiency in communication and collaboration. Typically require one to three years of DMS or industry related experience. Functional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  

  • Campaign Reports
  • Proactive backlog review to find uninstalled applications – or – applications installed but not claimed.
  • Coordination with CAMs.
  • Regular review of client application penetration report.
  • Consistent and clear messaging to dealer communicating the role of the ARM

 

 QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • 4 year college degree or equivalent experience
  • 7-9 months of job related formal training
  • 1-3 years of outside B2B sales
  • Knowledge of automotive, finance/insurance and technology industries preferred
  • Ability to travel approximately 75% or more is required

WHAT TO EXPECT IN THIS ROLE:

At a minimum, plan quarterly visits to all clients in your territory. Weekly call planning and pre-scheduling will be the key.  Call on a minimum of two accounts per day, with a minimum 2-hour visit per dealership.  Depending on locations, 3 to 4 acvcount visits per day may be possible.  It will be necessary to schedule all your appointments ahead of time with the Dealer Principle and confirm you will be meeting with each department manager for 15 minute reviews, and follow up with a 30-minute review of your findings with the dealer.  Have call reports signed off by the dealer following the 30-minute review.

 

During these reviews, you will be asking them to run key reports, and review and analyze key metrics.  You will be looking for ways to help them better utilize their system and point out opportunities to improve performance while gathering ROIs to reinforce the value of the ADP system.  As system or software issues are uncovered, you will coordinate with the CAM to have support associates quickly resolve issues for the client.  Refer RSP product utilization issues to your RAM.  You should always request a copy of their most current ADP invoice and proactively review it to ensure they are utilizing all products and services, and work directly with our collections department to resolve any billing issues.  Ensure effective weekly communications with DOS and Reps to update them on account status and copy them in on all applicable call reports.
