To me, the answer is, it depends. When I have a new candidate, I have a blank slate. They have no bad habits and as long as they stay away from the constant negativity that exists in that environment, the chances of success are very, very high. Having done this, training litterally thousands of people, many who have gone on to be top producers, managers, F&I, GSMs, and even a GM, the biggest point is making sure their attitude was in the right place. Experienced salespeople.  It depends on their experience. 8-10 units a month, really doesn't cut it anymore. 25 units a month, I need to question why are they leaving their present position and how were the grosses being maintained. 25 minideals doesn't cut it anymore. That is why companies such as Automax/Ziegler Supersytems create champions.

Right now I am going with experience and getting ready for dinner. Tomorrow is a day for experince. Come Monday back to new and training. Merry Christmas. EVERYONE!
