Forums like Dealer Elite mirror the changing landscape of human interaction and commerce brought about by technology powered online social media.  However, the auto industry is still governed by the unchanging rules of human nature which states that relationships are stronger when they are consumated with a handshake over some good food seasoned by stories of our shared successes and failures in a real world setting.  That is where the NADA Convention comes in.

I am going to NADA to listen and learn with my dealer / vendor client's checkbooks in hand to discover the next best thing to sell more vehicles and service in 2012.  Of course I will also be contributing some best in class solutions to share since after all, what are friends and the NADA Convention for.

That leads to the reason for this post.  I have already started to schedule meetings with past, present and pending dealer/vendor partners and I would like to extend this invitation to my fellow Dealer Elite members to coordinate our agendas.  More specifically, I am associated with a group of entrepreneurial auto industry insiders who are looking to acquire an equity position in complimentary vendor solutions to expand our growing family of vendor partners.

If you will be exhibiting or speaking at NADA and/or if you know of any best in class vendors that will be attending the convention to introduce new proprietary products or services I would appreciate your posting your/their contact information.  Please include a brief description of what they/you will be introducing at NADA and why we should meet in Las Vegas to discuss shared opportunities.

Of course if you have some other reasons for attending besides meeting with old and new friends and/or finding new solutions to common problems feel free to post that as well.  I have borrowed some of the best ideas that I have ever had on forums like Dealer Elite and if you can contribute any new ways to maximize the ROI from my investment of time and money at the NADA Convention for myself and my partner clients now would be a good time to share.  

I also plan on attending some of the posted sessions and I wil be co-hosting several VIP parties and presentation suites near the convention so if you know of any good ones to share with our fellow Dealer Elite members that would be an equaly valued reply to this post..
