I am still fairly new in the game of internet sales. Since I took over the internet sales in November of 2010, we have averaged 10 cars a month, with a 14 car high and a 7 car low. We are a smaller dealership in a somewhat rural area. We keep between 60-75 cars in stock, usually. It is a personal/dealership goal to try and hit the 15 car a month average. I am REALLY needing to get to this number! I am just wondering if anyone has any insight on what type of numbers this size of dealership should be doing off internet sales. Is that type of number realistic on an average for us? My closing ratio on internet customers is decent, at about 29%, of the customers we actually get in the door. Also, if anyone has any tips on upping the avg number of cars a month off the internet, I would be more than appreciative for the input. Thanks!!
