WELCOME TO MOTIVATION STATION -- A PLACE TO HELP GET YOU GOING

Beginning Today

~ unknown

Beginning today I will open my mind and my heart

Beginning today I will look in the mirror and

I will see a person worthy

of my respect and admiration.

This capable person looking back at me is someone

I enjoy spending time with and

someone I would like to get to know better.

Beginning today I will cherish each moment of my life.

I value this gift bestowed upon me in this world and

I will unselfishly share this gift with others.

I will use this gift to enhance the lives of others.

Beginning today I will take a moment to step off the beaten path and

to revel in the mysteries I encounter.

I will face challenges with courage and determination.

I will overcome what barriers there may be which hinder my quest

for growth and self-improvement.

Beginning today I will take life one day at a time, one step at a time.

Discouragement will not be allowed to taint my positive self-image,

my desire to succeed or my capacity to love.

Beginning today I walk with renewed faith in human kindness.

Regardless of what has gone before, I believe there is hope

for a brighter and better future.

Beginning today I will open my mind and my heart.

I will welcome new experiences.

I will meet new people.

I will not expect perfection from myself nor anyone else:

perfection does not exist in an imperfect world.

But I will applaud the attempt to overcome human foibles.

Beginning today I am responsible for my own happiness and

I will do things that make me happy . . .

admire the beautiful wonders of nature,

listen to my favorite music,

pet a kitten or a puppy,

soak in a bubble bath . . .

pleasure can be found in the most simple of gestures.

Beginning today I will learn something new;

I will try something different;

I will savor all the various flavors life has to offer.

I will change what I can and the rest I will let go.

I will strive to become the best me I can possibly be.

You can have everything in life that you want if you just give enough other people what they want.

RISKS

TO LAUGH IS TO RISK APPEARING THE FOOL.

TO WEEP IS TO RISK APPEARING SENTIMENTAL.

TO REACH OUT FOR ANOTHER IS TO RISK INVOLVMENT.

TO EXPOSE FEELINGS IS TO RISK EXPOSING YOUR TRUE SELF.

TO PLACE YOUR IDEAS, YOUR DREAMS, BEFORE A CROWD IS TO RISK THEIR LOSS.

TO LOVE IS TO RISK NOT BEING LOVED IN RETURN.

TO LIVE IS TO RISK DYING.

TO HOPE IS TO RISK DESPAIR.

TO TRY IS TO RISK FAILURE.

BUT RISKS MUST BE TAKEN, BECAUSE THE GREATEST HAZARD IN LIFE IS TO RISK NOTHING.

THE PERSON WHO RISKS NOTHING, DOES NOTHING, HAS NOTHING, AND IS NOTHING.

THEY MAY AVOID SUFFERING AND SORROW, BUT THEY CANNOT LEARN, FEEL, CHANGE, GROW, LOVE, OR LIVE.

ONLY A PERSON THAT RISKS IS FREE.

There is too much youth; how about a "Fountain of Smart?"

I appreciate this group as a valued resource of shared wisdoms reduced to easily communicated daily motivational messages and I plan to check in regularly; thanks!

As far as distributing them to our targetted audience -- which in my case is a combination of dealer personnel as well as my affiliated automotive advertising agencies and vendor clients for Ad Agency Online -- I would like to expand the comments to include some scalable channels that might reduce the effort to post them and to maximize their integration into established processes to reduce time in vs. time out.

I will prepare some ideas to start the process, however, I would prefer to listen and learn before I presume to teach given the collective wisdom and experience of Dealer Elite and the fellow members of this group. I will show you mine if you show me yours so... you first!

After all, what are friends -- and Dealer Elite -- for!

Thanks Jack for envisioning this group! I subscribe to a "motivational" site and read them daily. I then, copy and paste and send on to those people who are an important part of my life.
Thanks for making me feel important to you.

One of my favourites that I try to live by regularly:

What you focus on GROWS! (make it good!)
