Glenn Vollhoffer is the former Chair of the Board of Directors of the Automotive Training Standards Organization and the first individual to hold that position. He continues to serve the organization as member of the board in the role of Past Chair & is committed as ever to its success. He has over 40 years in the automotive field beginning as a Red Seal Service Technician Apprentice & culminating in a successful consulting Practice.
Glenn's consulting practice focus is on Process Engineering ( the systematic application of scientific and mathematical principles to achieve the practical goals of a particular sales, service or production process ) He is an expert in Leadership Training, Business Development, Management Development, Human Capital Utilization, Diversity Awareness and Career Planning & Counseling.
His involvement in the industry has encompassed everything from executive positions with the Automotive Sector Council to overseeing the Ford ASSET Program at BCIT as well as BCAA / BCIT / Ford Dealers auto skills competition each year. He has operated his own shop business, to managing fixed operations of major automotive dealerships. Glenn was a key member of MSX International's Canadian operation specializing in Service Department Engineering as well as process development & installation. He spent ten years with Honda Canada as a Field Specialist in Sales & Service as well as holding the position of Service Operations Manager for the Pacific Region of the Ford Motor Company of Canada
Glenn is well known & respected throughout the British Columbia automotive industry as being an innovator & master of change management.
