I was in the automotive business in the 1980s, moved into industrial automation until 2006, then came back to the the auto industry to bring the dealership I work for to the forefront of their local market online. My efforts thus far have netted an increase in monthly website traffic of more than 2,000%, trackable Internet leads averaging over 400 monthly, and reduced advertising expenses over time eliminating nearly 100% of printed materials (direct mail, newspaper, etc) except as strategically coordinated with online and television. I'm usually up on the latest technology and trends and implementing them as I can.
