Stephanie Young replied to Angela's discussion Who could give me some great Prospecting tips?
"Angela, below is an excerpt from a recent blog I posted regarding email marketing. Writing copy for email marketing is not far off from writing copy for letters sent by mail.    In the past, I use to produce copy for email campaigns that…"

Zero to Hero and Back in Thirty Seconds Seventeen Times a Day

In the past five years my job description has evolved into an amalgam of once individual positions, now viewed as a one-person juggling act.  When asked what I do for a living, the answer has become complicated.  I am a Sales Manager-Marketing Director-Information Technologies Developer-Public Relations Officer.  Whew!  Try fitting that on to a business card.  I am not alone, as many companies have down sized,…See More

Who is the Dummy Now?

Growing up, my sister would call me a dummy. As much as I cringe to admit this, she was right. I am a dummy…..a crash test dummy! In each incident, I was alone in the vehicle while sitting at a stop light, my standard transmission had been shifted into neutral, my foot was on the brake and I was perfectly still when….WHAM!!! Both vehicles were Japanese produced sports cars and sustained bumper and taillight damage…See More

Swimming in the Transparent Fish Bowl

Recently, I was invited to tour the new facility at my favorite dealership during a service visit.  From first glance, everything appeared to be in the framework of a typical dealership, until I got to the customer lounge.  This space had drawn a crowd in front of a large bank of glass windows.  I was curious about what all the excitement was about.  Did the dealership install an animal viewing area?    I worked my…See More

Professionally, I am the Marketing Guru for The Manus Group, producing newsletters, leadership and marketing blogs, as well as multiple press releases and other marketing collateral for one of the nation’s leading recruiting and training firms. With four generations of educators, entrepreneurs and community leaders as role models, my presence while making a difference continues a family tradition. Prior to joining the team at The Manus Group, I received a Bachelors Degree in Biology from the University of California, but it was my interest in sales and marketing that eventually lead me to become a contribution member of several nationally recognized political, charitable and commercial marketing campaigns. Today, I find myself in a fast-paced world where time is a valuable commodity. I believe that devoting sufficient time to building qualified staffs and highly skilled sales teams is serious business. Therefore, I enjoy promoting to savvy management personnel the competitive advantage of enlisting The Manus Group for renowned employee recruiting and training expertise in sales, service and management positions.

Personally, I was born, raised and educated in the southern portion of the Golden State, but currently reside in the Sunshine State. I consider myself a bi-coastal personality, as I have adjusted to life here in the South by learning how to boil and eat crawfish, play corn-h*** and weather out a hurricane in style. I love good food, great wine and fantastic company. Life is like a cocktail in a fancy stemmed glass and I am the swizzle stick. My friends are an eclectic mix of personalities, that I enjoy pouring together and stirring in a little fun to produce a delightful and refreshing treat.

Great line up of blogs of late.  Love the stories about your dad overcoming his handicap and developing super powers.  Those really touched my heart as the mother of a child with Down's Syndrome.  No wonder little Randy likes you!!!!
