Chris gr8 post brother. We don't need a bunch of clones like u and me--as leaders we have to lay the tracks of processes, but let the boxcars be boxcars. Some are graphitied, others are diverse in colors and shape-but in the end they get to their destination..the sale. The train has left the station! Thanks for sharing Chris.

I too agree, and like Nancy the salad bowl theory, I call it great ingredients for a great blend of chili. There is no cookie cutter solution to any of it, especially when bringing a team together. I've found that it takes a hands on approach that requires time to identify the individuals strengths and then to bring the team full circle.

I find it imperative to bring out the best in everyone. In doing this, part of the process is putting the right people in the right position.

Excellent share my friend!~

I like it and I totally agree...I often refer to the "Salad Bowl Theory" of forming a team vs. the "Melting Pot".   During the period of immigration when the American culture was being formulated most looked at it as a melting pot of sorts where all the cultures would be poured into a pot, melted down and blended to become the New World culture, while some forward thinkers preferred to think in terms of the salad bowl...where each nationality would remain who they were, brining their cultures to America which standing alone were just that, but all tossed together in beautiful salad to make a masterpiece! ...Synergy...The sum is greater than the individual components!
