Salesperson’s Daily tasks (5 every day tasks):

·  Walk the inventory every day that you are on shift. Learn about all the new arrivals as well as, the departures.  Get ahead of the competition by knowing the prime inventory has arrived and where it is on the lot.  Learn about all the new vehicles that came in on trade and which vehicles have been re-priced.

·  Follow up with existing sold and unsold customers.  Work your existing data base and continue to develop your business. Work with the service drive to service existing customers and be on the lookout for that rare car that your used car department needs.  The vehicle in service could help save another deal and add one more unit in operation.

·  Build your brand.  Get your message out to the people who support your business.  Use social media (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Pinterest to name a few) to keep your book of business growing. The brand you are representing  is you!

· Learn a new skill. Read a book, watch a video, read a blog or an article that focuses on improving your skill set. Take that new skill and master it through repetitive activities.

·  Practice, drill and rehearse an existing skill.  Improve on your greeting/reception, product presentation and your demo drive ratios, write-up presentation skills, closing skills and/or the skill of handling objections properly.
