How important is Tire Pressure? How often do you check it?

Monitoring Your Tire Pressure is a Weekly Routine.

For those who may have never thought of it, maintaining the correct tire pressure plays a HUGE factor in your daily driving habits, fuel efficiency, tire wear and road hazard conditions. Did you know that tires lose air pressure without you even noticing? If you don't have TPMS system, having a Tire Gauge will help you check your tire pressure often which is what I would recommend. For my own cars, I do a visual inspection before every time I drive my car and I check my air pressure at least 2x a week. If you are driving many miles on a weekly basis, it would be smart to even it check it daily either before you leave to work or when you get home.

Properly maintained tire pressure results:

  • Optimal fuel economy and performance
  • Ensures the longevity of the tires including proper wear patterns
  • Reduces the chances of a blow-out or other road hazards
  • Properly stabilizes the tire's structure to offer the best traction and handling that it was designed for.
