The Passion Fruit is named after the plant it comes from - the Passion Flower.

The Passion Flower is so called, because it’s very distinctive appearance was very symbolic to early missionaries, of Jesus on the cross. Or - the Passion of the Christ as it is known.

There are spiky structures sticking out from the center of the flower, which symbolizes the crown of thorns. There are ten petals, for the ten faithful apostles. There are three stigmata symbolizing the three nails and five anthers representing the five wounds.

Passion (from the Ancient Greek verb πάσχω (paskho) meaning to suffer) is a term applied to a very strong feeling about a person or thing. Passion is an intense emotion compelling feeling, enthusiasm, or desire for something.
The term is also often applied to a lively or eager interest in or admiration for a proposal, cause, or activity or love - to a feeling of unusual excitement, enthusiasm or compelling emotion, a positive affinity or love, towards a subject, idea, person, or object.
The power of passion? Can you sum it up? What is it for you? Do you have any?
Lose Some? Want some? Need some? Does your passion positively affect other lives?
It’s amazing if you ponder the derivative of the word “PASSION” to “SUFFER”…
Who suffers if you have none? Or the more important question… Who doesn’t?
The more PASSION you have the less you SUFFER…
Now… The most Powerful and Convincing example… The ULTIMATE sacrifice…
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Passion is the Christian theological term used for the events and suffering – physical, spiritual, and mental – of Jesus in the hours before and including his trial and execution by crucifixion.
In retrospect… We OWE it to our Faith…Our Heavenly Father…
Our Family… Our Future… Our Freedom… Our Financial Security…
Our Health… Our Well Being… Our Eternity… Our Salvation…
I say “Owe” not to take the emphasis away from the fact it is a debt that can’t be repaid…
Mankind… as we know it… would not even exist if someone would not of suffered…
Because of “His” PASSION…

So I ask you...

Could you suffer to have a little more passion? Or would you REALLY suffer if you did?
