What if you paid the sales people by splitting a percentage of the bottom-line?

What if you paid the sales people their commission by splitting a percentage of the bottom-line? They would be paid as one group  split equally on the gross profit. There would be unit bonuses paid for sales people selling more than ten units.Paying a split of the gross bottom-line would promote team work. The manager's job would be to get to as close to optimal performance from all their sales people by making decisions fast and seeing signs of a struggling sales person.The sales meeting would consist of company policies, unit sold count, goals, and end with non-confrontational sales training like Grant Cardone or Paul Cummings. Stay sales goal oriented. If you don't know where you are, you'll never know where you're going.  Keeping track of the sold units will show everybody who is pulling their weight and who isn't. When everybody wins, everybody wins.
