One (bad) habit I have every single morning is to check Fox Sports News the moment my feet are on the floor… For a sports fanatic like me, it’s a priority to check in with the overnight Premier League and Champions League scores.
This week has been a big week for that!
Barcelona getting done 4-0 to PSG! What the!
And yesterday, Arsenal getting done 5-1 to Bayern! That’s insane!
As I was reading the report of the Arsenal game, I came across this quote that got me thinking…
Rio Ferdinand on Arsenal's performance: "Teams are usually a reflection of their manager. And that was a weak performance."
It got me thinking.
Sales teams, are absolutely a reflection of their sales manager.
There is no way, you can have a strong performing sales team when you have a weak manager who doesn’t lead, motivate, coach and mentor his team. The problem is, most managers don’t know how best to do this...
Additionally, you can’t have a great sales day when the sales manager brings you into a meeting only to smash you for what you haven’t done yesterday and go through each and every lead micromanaging your every movement.
I’m passionate about a lot of things. The number one thing I’m passionate about, is helping managers improve their leadership abilities and become an expert in the area of coaching, mentoring, encouragement and motivation.
