<p>Great post! I agree 100%. I have always review these metrics with clients and have segmented the inventory in multiple groups as well. I look at different cost segments to identify the ROI and yield on money. Each unit is an investment that must produce a particular yield and all the metrics you mentioned and some additional ones are a huge part of getting the true picture. Unfortunately, there are too many dealers stocking the wrong types of cars and not looking at these metrics and then…</p>

Each unit is an investment that must produce a particular yield and all the metrics you mentioned and some additional ones are a huge part of getting the true picture. Unfortunately, there are too many dealers stocking the wrong types of cars and not looking at these metrics and then use the mentality of selling out of the problem which is a fallacy.
