Comment by Tom '1TeamSynergy' Wiegand on August 14, 2012 at 1:59pm Over-Promising and Under-Delivering marks people and businesses as untrustworthy. Anything but the complete opposite still leaves us marked. Yet, living an Under-Promising and Over-Delivering personal, team and business life consistently, consistently wins happiness and trust! Happiness and trust stick together! Excellent, Bobby!

Comment by Bruce Polkes on August 11, 2012 at 2:59pm Right on Bobby!
Truth and Transparency = Trust. Customers are looking for it more than ever, and are enabled more than ever to debunk those seeking a less-than-truthful path. I love Mark's statement that "every business is now naked." With the amount of information accessible through mobile devices, consumers are coming in fully loaded, and every business is laid bare. So give your team the tools to "Sell Naked." Salespeople who use iPads during the sales process find that they are best-equipped during these selling situations. By having all the process tools and information at their fingertips, they can transparently help the customer, leading to trust. So let's embrace today's reality and the technology that empowers it.
Thanks for your post!

Bobby you are dead on with your comments, but building trust comes when you are transparent and tell the truth. That often scares the heck out of dealers and sales people.
We are so afraid of anything negative being said about us, that we migrate to solutions that allow dealers to distort the truth about their customer buying experiences.
The reality is social media and the instant voice of the customer online has brought transparency to a new level. Essentially every business is now naked. And if you have to be naked, don't you want to look good? Maybe even work to get real buff? That means doing the right things everyday and then getting credit for doing the right thing.
We are working hard to show sales professionals and dealers that the truth can be a powerful marketing tool and a way to differentiate yourself from the competition.
Here is one dealer that put it all out there because he believes in his people to do whats right for the customer.
Keep those good videos coming.

Comment by Dave Anderson on May 25, 2012 at 4:58pm Great job Bobby. Trust is the real deal gold nugget amidst a sea of snake oil. Keep up the great work.
Comment by David Villa on May 24, 2012 at 12:20pm Bobby you hit it on the head with htis one! Without trust there is NO retention and i dont know abiut you but i think everyone has had their fill of "snake oil" salespeople. Trust will bring about loyalty and loyalty is a great thing!
Great post!!
Comment by Joe Clementi on May 24, 2012 at 11:14am Bobby another exceptional post! The relationship process is still the factor that determines the sale. Salespeople have to have a foundational belief in the sales process. If the sales person shortcuts the process of ownership the sale is lost as is all potential profitability!
Trust takes a while to earn and just seconds to burn.... Love this OUTSTANDING post Bobby Compton. I trust you will help those reading it!
