An excellent, well-organized and meaningful post Mr. Lewis.  I get it and agree that time management is important, not only to "work" success, but also to "life" success.  I only take issue to the "loser" term.  Considering most everyone who views your post here on DE isn't a dyed-in-the-wool, hardcore, can't-be-counted-on-for-anything "no account," I'd describe the lowest rung on this particular audience's "Lewis ladder" as "less productive."  And, I'd bet that even the most productive of us, every now and then, "skips a step."  Consequently, your post serves as a constructive reminder to all who view it to "get it together."

Ironically, a surprisingly large number of those nearing or at the end of their lives lament wishing they'd have taken more time to "smell the roses" and less time "minding the store."  You know.  Being super efficient and time conscious, mastering (or being mastered by) a never-ending schedule.  You might call it the other side of the high motivation "coin."   In my case it will never be a problem, as I procrastinate and "screw off" enough that I'll never have the "wished I'd goofed off more" regret when I head out to the next plateau.  While I never hear motivationalists mention it much, I personally am a big believer in "balance."
