Amazing that S Rosin could turn this motivational positive direction in to something racial.  Shows weakness and the typical left, liberal entitlement attitude that will bring America down to a society of socialist government controlled chaos.  What Grant is saying, is that we can all do this, and that IS the american dream and NOTHING stops you but you.  Your race, sexual preference, kids, and physical condition are excuses that are used by those who focus on those who have worked hard, as evil and wrong.  Conservative America wants this opportunity for even excuse makers like S Rosin, to be able to have anything she wants if she is willing to work for it.  And Yes Rosin, people still can do what Grant has done in America.  Im on my way there and plenty of examples of all kinds of people of every walk and race who are also.  And yes I know them personally.    This delusional liberal left excuse post from S Rosin should be deleted.

I am in no way representing my dealership with my views, but politically speaking, there are a lot of things wrong with this concept of "pull yourself up by your bootstraps." The Rugged Individualism idea is something that no longer applies to America in a post industrial revolution world. No longer can each individual in America do what you've done Mr. Carlson. Perhaps you did come from "nothing", but you seem unaware of what you have had going for you since birth: You are a White American Male who appears to be in good physical and mental health. You have seemed to take that for granted. Wouldn't it be a delightful world if we could all excel as you have and contribute to our counties, our cities, our country by providing jobs for people to clean our tennis courts and trim our olive tress? Unfortunately, I feel you have lost perspective of who in America actually have to buy affordable and reliable cars: the middle class. The same people who can’t have tennis courts and olive trees because their trying to afford college for their kids. When you speak like this, you are making an assumption that is insulting, patronizing, and downright incorrect. We would all love to get rich. We would all love to "contribute." We would all love to be able to post videos about our rags to riches story. But we can't, and for one reason: We are not all Rich White American Men. Some of us are facing a life-long uphill battle. Maybe we're Latino, African American, or Middle Eastern. Maybe we're homosexual. Maybe we have physical disabilities. Maybe we're women. And if this is the case, conservative America does not care about us. So when you use terms like "bitch and moan" about our lot in life, actually think about what people who are not Rich White Men have to go through.

Thank you for that reality check, Kevin.  You are 100% correct and I want to personally thank you and all the other veterans out there that give us the opportunity to be whatever we choose to be without conviction or judgement.  Thank you very much!

Grant, as always your video's are done with passion and challenge people take responsibility for own their lives. I also like the humor you add to most of your videos.
