Without If, there'd be no need for What...

If everyday you woke up and weren’t tired….

If you were never sick…

If you never suffered the death of someone close to you…

If you never hit life’s walls- the sudden loss of a job you gave nearly half of your life to, the forced bankruptcy because the economy tanked, the 15 year ride or die marriage ending in divorce, watching your car get repo’d while you hold on to your 5 year old son for comfort, and/or the foreclosure of the only home your children ever knew..

If your children did as they were told every time…

If all of your friends were true friends and never betrayed you…

If you were never lied to, embarrassed, or ashamed…

If you never had a flat tire in the rain, locked your keys in the car, or needed a tow in the middle of the night…

If you never bounced a check, saw a disconnect notice, or faced a garnishment…

If you never had an injury in your quest to build a healthier you…

If you had the perfect boss and were paid with an open check that you could fill out…

If you made every sale, accomplished every goal, and passed every test…

If every day was sunny…

If blue skies hung forever…

If there were peaks and no valleys in your life…

If you never faced the darkness, What would ever need faith for? If every day, every moment was a win, what would you be thankful for?

You need the dark to appreciate the light…

I had a cousin that would respond, "If grandma had balls, she'd be grandpa."

If you said "if", that's how he would respond.
