CAN THE LINCOLN FRANCHISE SURVIVE?
uh-oh! This promo video I cut today accidently got released all over the Twitterverse before the article actually came out. I never dreamed when I put it on YouTube that people would pick it up and re-broadcast it on Social Media. it wasn't until the phone calls started coming in that I realized what had happened.
I just spoke with the people at Wards Dealer Business Magazine and we'll have it up on their website ahead of time by this afternoon now the promo is already out.

A Lincoln version of the Mustang that's on par with BMW with a retractable top and an incredible audio system and I would buy it.

Now that  Alan Mulally is leaving at the end of the year, What are your thoughts on Lincolns future.

Jim,

Bold inquiry on your behalf with tactful positive respect to the Srs of Ford Motor. As we both have Lincoln for decades, once with a L-Term overdue release with the Mercury line, attempt every year to improve/enhance/establish a Luxury branded car. Simplifying it's awareness with MK..., it not doing it, consolidating massive metros down to one dealer with maybe two points is not enhancing market share and... My sentiment is that Ford should have allowed 10+ years ago integration with selected Ford Dealership points for many good business reasons, as well as, it is not necessarily cannibalistic to current 'Ford' franchises vehicular lineup, and it would provide more exposure for the franchises vehicles to the walk in public. Maybe even create better 'loyalty' with the Ford brand. Maybe Ford should consider this, before it's too late. After all, the continuity of Toyota to Lexus, Nissan to Infinity, Honda to Acura would take years and years to be understood and shopped. Reflect on the past 15 years + how Cadillac has struggled to be as it is today in  the legacy of GM product lines.

This discussion has gone viral in the "Real-World" which is extremely interesting. NOT NEARLY as much activity online as there is in the actual world. I've received dozens of calls, emails and private messages concerning this issue.

I feel that perhaps the reason it's not as prevalent online is because the dealers protesting the loudest are cautious about putting something in writing that might come back to them. BUT, believe me, this is a super hot issue and this article is resonating...
