I find in addition to focusing on gratitude and goals I find that focusing my thoughts on our best clients, and the ways they say they've benefited from our products and service, goes a long ways towards "keeping my fuel going" when things slow down.

Congrats, David, on delivering as well-presented and relevant a post (to everyone who views it, from vendors, to dealers, to "green pea" reps) as I can remember here.  I watched it three times as I'm not the "sharpest pencil in the box," but considering the depth of content and how, when you try and grade yourself on each of its points, probably everyone should view it several times.  Really, the only suggestion I can make is you might consider adding a pause after some of your more important statements, which are many, as it might aid in their "digestion."

Thanks again!  (However, you didn't mention my personal favorite motivator, which is placing the barrel of a small caliber handgun against my temple as I convince myself to "get with it.")
