Excuses Are Like…

Many of the big money, big publicity compliance meltdowns in the auto industry have been the result of vehicle financing issues. Remember the Gunderson Chevrolet news clips showing the management team being convicted and sent to jail? Being a fearless bunch, some F&I folks still walk a fine line when it comes to compliance. Maybe it’s because no one ever showed them a better way?

YES! Sales Success is as Easy as 1-2-3.

The problem is, if it's not simple to do, and easy-to-understand; then it will probably not be duplicated or taught very well to the others inside of your dealership. First seven years of my sales career I focused on becoming the best sales person I could by getting my hands on the best information, listening to the best trainers; and practicing, drilling and rehearsing every bit of what…

A Case of the Mondays - A Lesson in Finding the Passion in your Job

Anyone else kind of slugging through the day? It's Monday in the East Coast (well, everywhere, I suppose), and it's hot. I'd like to be at the beach sipping on Gatorade and reading a raunchy novel. But, it's a work day for me.

5 years ago to the day, I was sitting in my cubicle, going through thousands of leads and sending them in for credit to our lead source vendors. 5 years ago, I was a manager/operations director of a BDC in New Jersey. The powers that be also… Continue

Employee Performance - Measuring Strategic Contribution

The strategic contribution of individual employees can and should be measured. Why? Too often, companies invest heavily in articulating their Mission, Vision, and Values, but stop short of clarifying and clearly communicating how each employee can play a roll. A company’s employees execute that company’s Mission, Vision, and Values on a daily basis by virtue of their daily activities. Those activities are the strategy…and ultimately enable the company to realize its Mission, Vision, and…

Automotive Advertising Agencies Promote Training To Help Them Sell More Cars And Service

To train -- or not to train -- is not the question according to automotive advertising agencies who understand the importance of investing in the people part of the sales and service process by providing training before, during and after the sale. The Best Automotive Trainer Overall

You know I love all of you guys. Hell I have worked with all of you at one point or another.

I remember the very first training session I was instructed to go to and Give, Give, Give just pops in there.

To this day I have to say that the principles taught by Grant Cardone have always been where the reality of selling cars lives. All of you are great, not as good as me but you're good. <:)

Does anyone remember who originally had the device to beam from the lot to the…

No Shortage of Money!

1 trillion dollars was lost in the stock market yesterday and it didn't change your life one little bit! This goes to show you just how much money there exist on this planet. 1 trillion dollars was destroyed due to fear, economic reports, bad news, and maybe, some guy on Wall Street with a fat thumb making an incorrect entry.

The point is money is not scarce! There are no shortages of it and it is not something to be concerned or worried about. A trillion dollar destruction of… Continue
