I wear a Fitbit tracking device that monitors how many steps I take during the day. One of the features in the Fitbit is when I’m sitting for a while it buzzes to encourage me to take so many steps to meet my goal for the hour. Wouldn’t it be nice if we had a similar product that monitored what we are accomplishing in our jobs? Words cannot express what a great joy it is for me to get an email or phone call from a client providing information on what a wonderful month they had in fixed operations. As we approach our 16th year of helping dealerships it’s exciting to always be refining and improving what we do. It’s amazing how quickly our company’s Margin Plus has grown by finding millions of dollars in additional gross profit on warranty repairs for dealers. To watch Fixed Performance on-site consulting clients that grow their fixed operations to prosperity reaching levels they never imagined is a joy beyond measure. I truly love what we do and take great pride in coaching and watching other people succeed. It’s hard to believe that 2018 is now officially half over and many of you need a reminder to get going. What excuse do you tell yourself as a reason your dealership hasn’t taken advantage of state laws requiring manufacturers to pay retail on warranty? Why have you accepted poor results from your fixed operations that impact your dealerships financially on an ongoing basis? Change is never easy, however, those that aren’t open to it are on the path to failure. It’s time to get off your seat and start stepping towards the prosperity you desire from your fixed operations. Go ahead and “make my day” with a call about ways we can improve your quality of life. If you don’t get going sooner or later you’ll be gone.
