We have a new dealership that was built with a quick service lane. Our Toyota store does remarkable with theirs. Here at a Lexus store, I am looking for marketing ideas etc.. to get this up and running. We have an obsticle that customers will not be able to stay with their vehicle. The lay out and design is not one I would have chosen. (you can view in virtual tour from our web site www.lexusofmadison.com)

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. We need to support 3 lube technicians which would equate to about 6.8 oil changes per hour. Also, how to market non-Lexus owners and charge them less than the price our Lexus owners are paying for their service.

Congrats on your new store!

Not sure I understand your question regarding the issue with customer not being able to stay with their vehicle?

In regards to marketing non-Lexus owners, one of the absolute best campaigns I have ever ran was a 1 Penny oil change. We actually wanted to start with going after our own make first, it was a Toyota dealership so we ran this campaign only for Toyota's to gain market share of the competitors, and boy did we ever achieve this. We got a lot of flack for running a real deal 1 penny oil change, even resistant from the service writers and director at first, but when they figured out the value of having a live customer on the service drive, and the first $3000.00 up sale happened everyone soon jumped on board. The campaign was so successful, we went after other makes and models the same as you're looking to do, and the rest is history - a very successful marketing plan to say the least!~

Happy Selling my friend!~

Thanks you for your input. As far as not being able to stay with their vehicle. The quick service drive through lane entrance is through our shop, so, that means the customer will not be able to stay in their vehicle. I do not care for the design, but it is the cards I have been dealt.

Sounds interesting. We have a Lexus market retention of 72%, so we are doing great with our own franchised brand. That being said, we are looking to expand to all makes and models specifically Toyota UIO's in our area. We are currently producing a very large media campaign that will run the first of the year and would like to piggy back the quick service with that. Any and all ideas are welcomed.
