How did you specifically hear about DealerELITE? If referred, who?

Not everyone gets approved for DealerELITE. To maintain the integrity of DealerELITE, tell us what you will have to offer once a dealerELITE member?
I have decades of experience in sales, marketing and business development. I interact well in forum discussions and engage effectively with other professionals.
Welcome Mike, Did you read my bio before you decided to "friend" me? I'm curious to know? I read yours and watched the "credit card" video attached. While we both are sales reps and vendors to the auto industry, our products are considerably different. But, that's what makes this (and ADM) such interesting organizations.

Hey Mike, I just checked my website with Google Analytics and didn't see any hits from Washington DC? If you were on, let me know when, and I'll check out why you didn't show up with my IT guy.
To see what I do for dealers, just Google "RCM at Auto Dealerships" and we're the 1st entry. One page and you'll know it all. The rest of my site is the "what, where, how, when and why" of relationship centered marketing and takes much longer to read.
Hey thanks Mike. Just getting started with this. I am the Director of Training for Jerry's Auto Group in Weatherford, Texas. We have 8 stores that I handle the training for. Work load is huge but it is amazing how just a little group training throughout the week and then followed up with one on one training on an individual basis makes such a differenct. Just this week I have been working with a young man that is new to the business and he is a new Toyota salesman and he had it all wrong. I have been with him one on one and int group training for 4 days. The last 4 days he has sold 5 units. All last month he did not sell 5 units total. The difference is taking the inexperienced and observing their process which is not anything. Then show him the basic process and work with him off and on with the basics and the walk around and deal sheet. How to sell himself, the product and the dealership. WOW.... what a difference the personal touch has made for him and so many here at our dealerships. I look forward to strengthening our relationship and business together. Have a great day.
If dealers want to lower their cost... spend it on an in house trainer and let the trainer train. Problem is, as soon as the trainer shows progress the dealer wants to make him a manager and thats the downfall of the whole purpose. Once that happens the salespeople lose the trust they had in progress they were making and their dealer and staff. Managers manage, salespeople sell and trainers need to train. Invest in your people continously andnkeep them sharp. A trainernis a coach, a mentor and teacher. The trainer is to get results in progress, not gross. Get the units and the gross will be there. Dont just train for 30, 60 or 90 days. Train 12 months out of the year. Keep your staff trained. Training is for all employees. From upper management to management and then down to salespeople. Then it up to dealer to hold all accountable fornall training!
Mike, thanks for the personal invite. I love your wisdom, and as a fellow trainer, agree 100% that "learning" is a 24/7/365 lifelong event. Like the famous Zig Zigler said many times, "it's like taking a bath and needs to be done daily." That's why it's important to connect with many sources of e-subscriptions and start your day with great ideas. One final thought I like to use from Joe Verde, "the cost of training is far less than the cost of NOT training."
Thank you for the warm welcome. I look forward to collaborating with you and others on the automotive industry. I am looking forward to the knowledge I will gain.
Thanks for the invite Mike, I'm proud to have become a part of the automotive sales industry and a part of this awesome resource. Looking forward to tapping into the vast knowledge and experiences of members like yourself, as well contributing my own, as I grow.
