Event Description

Having the proper PPE can save a dealership from employee injuries, loss of employee work time, and expensive workman's compensation claims.

Free webinar Thursday August 23, 9am PT, 10am MT, 11am CT, noon ET

Protection of your employees in the workplace is very important. According to OSHA's guidelines, OSHA requires the use of PPE to reduce employee exposures to hazards in the workplace, and when used correctly, PPE saves lives and money. Does your dealership provide the proper protective equipment available to your service, parts, and collision repair teams?

This webinar will explain what kinds of personal protective equipment are needed at the dealership, how to comply with OSHA standards, and a real example of PPE that saved a technician’s life. Having the proper PPE can save a dealership from employee injuries, loss of employee work time, and expensive workman's compensation claims.

Presented by: Janet Wimmer, Regulatory AnalystKPA

Janet Wimmer

Janet Wimmer has been working in Safety and Environmental Regulations since the regulations began in the 70’s and 80’s. Having had a small recycling business that received the first EPA permit in Tennessee, she has suffered the pain of regulation while trying to keep a business afloat. She later started her own EHS Compliance Consulting company focusing on dealers. Dealing with the practical points of regulation and conveying these regulations clearly are her strong points.
