The main focus of this position is to be the primary point of contact for the dealer client and all associates involved in the Automotive business systems implementation process.  Coordinates and ensures a successful and timely implementation for complex Southeast region projects.

Responsibilities:

Acts as primary installation point of contact and escalation point for project stakeholders including all functional ADP departments, Clients, and Third Party Suppliers.

Develop install Project Plan for distribution to project participants.

Drives implementation consistency and quality through execution of the ADP project management guide. 

Provides status updates, tracks open issues, and works with all ADP groups to resolution as required.

Responsible for the project until purchased products and agreed upon deliverables are completed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Acts as primary installation point of contact and escalation point for project stakeholders including all functional ADP departments, Clients, and Third Party Suppliers. (30%)

Develop install Project Plan for distribution to project participants. (5%)

Drives implementation consistency and quality through execution of the ADP project management guide. (10%)

Provides status updates, tracks open issues, and works with all ADP groups to resolution as required. (30%)

Responsible for the project until purchased products and agreed upon deliverables are completed. (10%)

Acts as a mentor to Project Specialist & Project Manager I. (15%)

Acts as back-up to Manager, Project Management Center (2%)

 

Supervision Received / Independence of Action: Objectives are established but work is done independently. Considerable independence of action is required. Standards and guidelines are general. Results are reviewed for overall adherence to established or planned objectives and policies.

Service Quality: Provides service quality that is based on looking beyond the client's/contact's immediate needs.

It is necessary to understand the effects the advice or service is likely to have in the client's situation. Ensuring that the service best fits with the client's goals and intentions is an important responsibility.

Accountability / Decision Making: You have authority to take whatever action is deemed advisable or necessary. May initiate and carry out the action but should advise a superior of the action taken. Must inform manager of all non-routine situations.

Decision making and recommendations involving risk to quality, client satisfaction, and revenue must be escalated to the Manager or Director, Training & Implementation.


The results of decisions, actions or advice typically affect current operations of any assigned region project.

Problem Solving: Causes of problems may not be readily apparent, symptoms may be vague and minor assumptions may be necessary. Such problems require further inquiry that is generally, but not exclusively, confined to the work related area. Solutions require interpretation of information with independent judgment and risk.

You have complete authority to take whatever problem-solving action is deemed necessary, subject only to policies or general rules.

Analytical Reasoning: Analytical reasoning used in the job tends to be equally routine and non-routine.

Breaks down simple and complex tasks into manageable parts in a systematic manner.

Planning: Required to plan major and complex implementation projects involving multiple ADP organizations.

Coordinating & Organizing: The job requires continual coordinating/organizing and integration of activities, materials, information, staff or other resources used in large, complex projects or ongoing processes where frequent modifying of priorities is required to meet objectives.

Supervisory Responsibility:  Project Specialist, Project Manager I and Project Manager II

Experience: 3-5 Years Project Manager I or Training & Implementation Management experience
