Dealer Relations Manager

Basic Function

The Dealer Relations Manager (DRM) is responsible for identifying, recruiting, signing and retaining dealers and dealerships for CarWoo!’s Dealer Plus product, and other products that CarWoo! may develop for dealers.  Using leads generated by the CarWoo! events, the CarWoo! Dealer Happiness Team and through their own efforts. the DRM pitches and closes sales with new Dealers for CarWoo!’s Dealer Plus and, in the future, for other products. This position builds relationships with prospects by frequent interaction (on the phone, via email, or occasionally in person) and use of presentations, scripts and demos built for the sales teams. Closing the sale requires the DRM to have the Dealer agree and enter credit card information online, or provide billing information for invoicing. Maintenance of the client relationship is needed for retaining, improving and up-selling the client in the future

Measures of success for this role shall include, but not be limited to:

 

  • Meet /Exceed territory revenue goal objectives
  • Dealer Plus sign up rates 
  • Dealer Plus dealer retention
  • Dealer Plus dealer payment

Duties

  • Identify, engage, recruit, close and retain dealers for the Dealer Plus product
  • Deliver effective Dealer Plus presentations
  • Work effectively with Dealer Plus team to maximize team performance
  • Ensure timely payment by dealers not on recurring billing
  • Accurately record all activities in SalesForce
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Promote a culture of teamwork, excellence and integrity

Specific deliverables:

  • Close a targeted 5-10 Dealer Plus deals per month
  • Retain no fewer than 10 dealers for every 12 signed
  • Meet Daily Sales KPI objectives

 

 

Reporting Relationships

  • Reports to Vice President of Sales

 

Qualifications

Knowledge

  • Complete understanding of CarWoo systems,  policies and procedures.
  • Thorough understanding of CarWoo revenue objectives and dealer expectations
  • Thorough understanding of CarWoo products, programs, initiatives and alliances
  • Must have a thorough understanding of dealership and the auto industry sales

Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and people skills
  • Strong sales and closing skills
  • Must possess the ability to make consistent quality decisions
  • Must possess relationship management skills
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Able to meet deadlines and establish objectives
  • Must have strong marketing and sales skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must be proficient in computer software such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SalesForce and in Internet browser technologies

Experience

  • 2 to 5 years of b2b sales experience
  • Car dealer sales experience a plus
  • Substantial start-up experience
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent life experience required

Compensation

  • Base plus commission based on monthly revenue
