Position Title: Product Manager

Location:New York City, NY

Company Brief: Global manufacturer serving the OE and Automotive Aftermarkets

Requirements:

* 5+ years of product management experience, within an Automotive manufacturing environment, a must

* Tire or wheel experience a plus

* Demonstrated ability to manage both new and existing product lines & SKU's from concept to completion

* Proven track record in maintaining, improving & increasing product margins and market share

* Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization

* Ability to move projects through the organization with minimal direction

* Experience setting objectives and developing plans to implement

* Expertise of Microsoft Office software and applications

* Reside or desire to commute into NY City daily

Description:

* Research, development & launch of new products sufficient to meet company growth and financial objectives

* Effective management of current products through their life cycle

* Manage phase out of low and declining SKU's

* Coordinate all areas needed to attain the annual plan, forecasts and strategic business objectives

* Research / development of new products based on market trends, competitive analysis & customer demand

* Prepare business plans for all new products and present to senior management for approval

* Product line P&L accountability

* Provide sourcing strategy including identification of new suppliers, purchased terms, conditions and an inventory plan for market support

* Provide sales channel plan to grow, support target market/ customers and a marketing plan to promote the new products

* Interface with sales, industry experts and customers, as needed

* Attend and assist at trade shows as required. Develop trade show displays as required
