Bill’s highly recognized expertise is the product of one of the most extensive diverse fixed operations careers. His 35 years of service and parts experience includes owning his own automotive service business, managing dealership service and parts departments, and serving in an OEM service division.
After the Air Force, Bill launched his career in the dealership where he worked his way through the positions of porter, technician, service manager, and fixed operations director. The seventeen years in dealership gave Bill a strong understanding of operations. His experience included both small and very large Import Dealerships and landed him many national awards from the OEMs. Bill not only worked in the dealership, he even owned his own automotive service center. In addition to the retail side of the business, Bill spent sixteen years with Mazda, where he served as District Service Manager, Fixed Operations Specialist, Technical Training Instructor, and Regional Training Manager.
Bill worked his way from “turning wrenches”, to service management, to entrepreneurship, to OEM positions. This all led to a natural progression for using his vast knowledge in helping dealers across the country improve their service operations.
Bill serves as a Senior Express Consultant for Service Operations Specialists and is highly regarded for his accuracy and diligence in implementing Express Service.
