AutoTrader, Experian Partnership Allows Dealers to Include AutoCheck Reports with Listings

AutoTrader.com and Experian Automotive have entered a partnership that will allow dealers to include Experian’s AutoCheck vehicle history reports with their listings on AutoTrader.com.

Here’s how it works.

Starting in September, AutoCheck-subscribing dealers will have the option of including those reports on AutoTrader.com.

In its statement announcing the deal, AutoTrader noted: “This non-exclusive partnership is a step designed to facilitate choice for AutoTrader.com's dealer customers and allow other vehicle history report providers to work with AutoTrader.com in a similar manner.” *

John Gray, president of Experian, says September will be the first time in recent history that its vehicle reports will be included in AutoTrader.com listings. More than 12,000 dealerships subscribe to AutoCheck, Gray says. **
