Your customers love to look at pictures. We don't need to see a study to know this. It's part of human nature. With that said, the studies and research all point to the same thing: more and better pictures yield more clicks, leads, and sales as a result.

We discussed this in detail on our blog post titled Just a Reminder: Pictures Sell Cars that shows why quantity and quality of your images can make a tremendous impact on your overall marketing efforts. It works on your website. It works on 3rd-party sites. When your customers have an opportunity to see a vehicle in a listing amongst others that do not, you're going to get the clicks.

It works well on 3rd-party sites like Craigslist and eBay Motors as well. These sites indicate whether or not listing have images. You can even filter out the listings that do not have images.

It's not just about making sure your listings all have images. You have to make sure the quality of the images and the messages they're portraying are appropriate and compelling.
