The process of creating specials and deals within multiple DMS’ can be less than ideal.  With a proper Desking Tool, installers should make sure that your DMS is linked up with your CRM provider.  After narrowing down a specific group of prospects that you will push a special to, you will only have to create the special in your CRM system.  Many dealers express frustration with having to create specials in multiple systems and coordinate them in a CRM.  An efficient solution should focus on eliminating this problem to increase your efficiency. 

Deal Defaults (Down payment, interest rates, terms, taxes, aftermarket products, etc...) are ideally pre programmed into a Desking Tool.   Traditionally, a sales associate brings a deal jacket to the sales manager.  The Sales Manager then creates (loads) a single deal inside the DMS and begins to work the deal (the Sales Manager can only work one deal at a time).  The modern way of working a deal, the sales manager opens an existing customer profile and begins to work the deal, as the sales associate has already selected a vehicle of interest, a trade, and put all of the customer’s personal information in the customer profile.  If all the defaults are already in the Desking Tool, the sales manager can swiftly create the deal, save it and print off one of our many different presentations (and can have more than open deal at a time).  The simplicity of the system should you to push credit applications to Dealer Track and/or Route One and push trade information to most third party trade parties (V Auto, First Look, etc...).  Without having to enter all this information into many different systems, the 21st century Dealer is allowed to work more deals at a faster pace.
