Subaru WRX STI

The WRX STI has 305 horsepower, 37 more than the 268 horsepower of the WRX in addition to 32 lb-ft of additional torque. If you are looking for the thrill of a race car during your everyday driving, the lower price tag and impressive features of the WRX are likely to meet your needs. If you want a car with the power and stamina to take a drive down canyons and over mountains, there may be adequate reason for going to the Subaru WRX STI. The WRX also offers better fuel mileage at 23 combined mpg in comparison to the 17/23mpg of the STI.

If your idea of the perfect car is one that rides quietly and smoothly without all the bells and whistles, either model of the WRX probably isn’t your first choice. Of course, you wouldn’t be looking into performance cars if that was your goal. For most drivers, the choice in the WRX comes down to the feeling they get from being behind the wheel. If you aren’t in a position to put the high-end capabilities of the STI to the test, then the decision is really about going with the WRX or another performance car. For most of those that have made the choice before, the Subaru WRX is the best choice hands down.
