On-Star, SYNC, Bluetooth, Heads-Up, BOSE, adjustable this, telescoping that! WOW! With all the technology our vehicles offer today, how important is the delivery? It is the key to future sales and referrals. I personally found 3 features on my new Camaro that I either didn’t understand or in one case didn’t even know I had! By the way I work at a Chevy dealer, and although I no longer do many deliveries, I realized we were slipping with our last contact with our customers before they drive home. What a perfect opportunity to show your genuine concern for your customer’s understanding of not just what they purchased, but how it works! The “salesman” tosses the keys. The “professional” delivers the car with enthusiasm and complete understanding of the technology the vehicle has to offer. And lastly, making the customer feel at ease about calling you with any questions. (perfect time to seek referrals) Just a quick reminder we all have to be shown “how it works”.
