I have been in the car business since i turned 19, about 23 yrs. I have held positions in Franchise Lots from New car sales to used cars sales, promoted to F&I my 2nd year in the Business.I was promoted to Finance Director at age 25, "Apple Dodge Austin TX. After a few more years i became used car manager, we sold on average 210-250 used cars a month. In the last 10 yrs i have been more involved in the independent used car side of the business.Working toward the technical side of sales. I realized about 10 yrs ago that our profession was changing rapidly with the integration of the web, which is where my focus has been since. I have set up 5 independent lots and put together there internet sales departments. From buying on and listing on OVE, E bay, Craig's list Etc. To setting up multiple social networks and integrating them with Auto Trader, Cars.com and the hundreds of other 3rd party ad sites. I can offer my experience to independent owners who know they need to get on board with the way customers are buying through there vehicles on the web, but think that its to expensive and or just don"t have the knowledge to set up an email account, "OLD SCHOOL" way of selling is what 70% of independent dealers still hold to. I also hope to gain insight from the vast knowledge i know is available through this site.I have opened up my own lot and am finally ABLE TO DO THINGS HOW I KNOW THEY NEED TO BE DONE. Thanks
