Are you using a kiosk in your showroom or computer in your F&I Office (or iPad) to ask customers to leave a positive review on Google Places for your store?

Are you also asking them to “Like” you on Facebook and update their status to say how happy they are that they just bought a car from you at your store (either in F&I or with the salesperson)?

Not sure if Google will allow reviews coming from the same IP address.  I might be wrong on this, but IP address do get tracked.  One can still use Google rating page to show the customers how it is done and ask them to do it in the comfort of their home.

The Facebook page is nice and is a great way to communicate with your customer base via social media, I would recommend to focus primarily on Google reviews.  The people who research you for sales or service will only look at the first page - your Google Star count and reviews count is what will make the difference between you and the next guy.  I do not recommend to pay for DealerRater.
