I am an experienced salesman but new to car sales and have been doing a lot of research and learning as much information as I can in the short period of time that I have been in car sales. It's ultimately the process of selling cars. Trust the process and in 6-8 weeks you will take off! Take your time to be with the customer the whole way through, get your GM to ask finance to sell accessories (where margins are), follow-up with sold and unsold customers, and be the tough sweetheart.

Ask if you can take a class from a third party! Automax screened me, had me take the class for free, then got me hired. Note that while everyone is a potential customer, timing is everything. Give them options they never knew they had!
