Tajir, Welcome...and thank you for the invite! As I train new staff coming into the automotive industry from other industries, I find that they have the ability to look at selling cars from a different perspective. This will help you as you begin a great career. Remember a few things as you get started. Dont sell the way you would buy...Sell the way they tell you they want to buy. Sell value before price. Dont short-cut a process...Process breeds success! Follow up, follow up and follow up. I could go on for days but that should get you started. Keep your eye out on this site and you will learn a great many things from the people that are succcessful. Now, go make some $$$$!

REMEMBER THAT IN SALES YOU HAVE TO DEAL WITH ALOT OF PEOPLE AND NOT ALL ARE BUYERS,THEY ARE WILL TELL YOU A STORY AND NEVER COME BACK,LIKE I HAVE TO PICK UP MY KEDS,I NEED TO TAKE MY MEDICATION,WHEN THEY DO THAT I TRY TO GET THEM TO TAKE THE CAR ON MY DEALER PLATE SO THAT IT HELPS THEM STAY IN THE CAR AND MAKES THEM WANT TO BUY IT EVEN MORE,GOOD LUCK

Hi Tajir,

I would be more than happy to share my experience and advise to you in helping you to be successful in your new career.

Let me first say "persistence" is the number one key ! I use to think I could sell to "everyone" and over the years I have discovered that it's all about listening. You can show someone all the features of a car and never talk about what the person's really looking for in that car. Asking questions and "listening" to the answers, absorbing them, and then addressing their interest is what sells a customer. Relationship building, talking about "them" and really caring about what they tell you, will create life long customers and loyalty.

Ask me anything. I'm happy to help.

Wow! Such a pleasure to meet you...You picked a good guy to friend in Bobby Compton (B.C.) ... Stick with him and listen to what he has to say. I have been in the business for 33 years and would never trade it for anything in the world! When I interview someone, I talk about my passion for the business for the first 1/2 hour and every applicant wants the job!!!! Talk to you soon...Happy Selling!
