This is a real WOW!  Our lives are full of the familiar, the things we are used to, the things we are secure with and the things we have convinced ourselves are okay. These we hear over and over again; we like their sound and are comforted by the  mantra we know by heart.  
  
However, growth is only possible when we seek what we have yet to understand.  We all know the passage in  Isaiah 55:8, 9... "My thoughts  are  not your thoughts, Nor  are  your ways My ways, says the Lord. For  as  the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts."
   
This passage should inspire a life-long search for God's best; an eternal search to discover at least some of the treasure and mystery of who God is.  But instead, many use it as an excuse for spiritual mediocrity.  "I'm just human"
we say, instead of embracing the promise of Jesus in Luke 11:9, 10... "ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.  For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened."
  
Make today the genesis of  your renewal; the day of determination; the day when you refire the passion for God's Word! You will  discover truth that sets you free and inspiration that launches you into a life of victory.
