Ford's New Sporty Mini-Van Option? 2014 Ford Transit Connect Wagon for sale in NJ!

The Latest Redesigned of the Ford Transit Connect for 2014 has peaked my interest.

It's not every day that a "car guy" can find a mini-van or commercial van that is correctly design to look appealing to them but Ford has done it! The 2014 Ford Transit Connect Wagon and Commercial Vans features some common stylish cues of Ford's current new lineup with the wide-open grill, curves, stylish headlights and taillights, fog lights and wheel options.

If I was in the market for a Ford Transit Connect, below would be exactly what I'd want to own!

My dad used to own a 2000 Ford Windstar and that was technically the first car I learned to drive and parallel park (one hell of a boat...I guess it's really not too big compared to my 2nd car which was a Lifted 2004 Ford F150 Super Cab with a 6.5lb and I learned how to parallel park that too.) Regardless, the Windstar/Freestar platforms had too many issues from suspension to axle issues to trans issues and Ford lost in this department to Honda, Toyota and Nissan with their mini-vans. (my dad's Windstar didn't even make it to 100k before we had to junk it and we took care of it!).

Over the following years, Ford went the route of crossovers from the Free-style to the new Ford Explorer which offered the same amount of room as the Windstar but with AWD or 4WD capabilities.

Now with the release of the 2014 Ford Transit Connect Wagon-style, Ford seems to be doing a good job at marketing to families through their videos and images on their website. They even show off what the Transit Connect Van for 2014 is capable of in terms of MPG, Best-In-Class Capabilities, and Power. (these are all very similar for the Transit Connect Wagon).

In terms of Towing Capacity, I've never really see a mini-van being able to tow that much at all (except for my uncle's Sienna which he added an aftermarket tow-hitch that bottomed out every where and was useless), so 2,000lbs of towing capacity for the 2014 Ford Transit Connect isn't really all that bad, especially when Ford shows you that can tow your families Jet Skis to the beach or lake!
