Groupon Doesn't Work for Selling Cars

I recently asked Dealer Elite Members what they thought of using Groupon to sell cars- no matter what we all think the idea seems to have fallen flat.  REad the complete article at

We did one on bargainbee.com 3 months ago. For 20 u get 500 more for ur trade. We only sold one on that but are not discouraged, it take a while for the fish to find the bait sometimes. Its a new concept and one that i think will eventually take flight.

I love the business model for Groupon (will be in line at the IPO) but not sure it will work for big ticket items- including their partnership to sell travel with Expedia. Check out Arnold Tijerina blog- wonderful insight into why this experiment failed.
