Looking for ways to hit it out of the park on Craigslist?

Good morning automotive dealers, Internet Sales Managers and Marketing Guru's,

First of all thank you for taking the time to take a look at my post this morning I appreciate it. The BDC experts work with a large number of dealerships all over the world and when I see something that works well I like to share it with the automotive community. I will be doing a more comprehensive post later this week. Here are some tips, which will help you Crush It on Craigslist, or other portals.

Tip One: Use some form of software that enables you to syndicate content across multiple networks to save time and generate more posts that are more professional and get more eyeballs as well.

Here is one of the many companies that can help you:

Tip Two: Take all the lot graphics and where you car is located out of the add. Don't tell that customer where the car is. This way you can turn the email inquiry into a phone opportunity that shows up and sells the car.

Tip Three: Have deep links, great photos and great information but never tell the customer everything. It is what we like to call Controlled information. The customer wants some details of course, but you need to motivate he or she to call your dealership.

Tip Four: Have a game plan, script and steps for that salesperson or BDC rep when the call comes in. I can't tell you how many sales are lost at dealerships all over the country due to bad phone skills and no game plan when the call comes in. If you need help in this area we would be happy to help you.

Tip Five: Look for creative ways to get customers to call vs. emailing your dealership. Internet leads are glorified phone opportunities anyway. One of our stores uses the following tactic, which works very well. They have a link for credit approval, which does not work and gives the customer a message saying they are sorry, but please call for assistance.

This works very, very well…

I am looking forward to writing my full blog post; I just had to get these tips out now!!!!!!!
