Rplate, World’s First Digital License Plate and Winner of Best New Product Award, Featured at CONNECTIONS Conference May 21 - 23

Reviver demonstrates its award winning Rplate at Connected Car Corner, by InstallerNet, in San Francisco; Reviver also announced that the Rplate is the winner of a Best New Product Award from the 2019 American Business Awards

Foster City, CA – May 20, 2019 – Reviver’s Rplate, the world’s first digital license plate, will showcase  its award-winning product and platform May 21st – 23rd in San Francisco at the first ever Connected Car Corner, by InstallerNet, at CONNECTIONS, which highlights the role of smart automotive technologies, and features companies with specific solutions for the connected car. Reviver also announced that the Rplate has just been awarded the Stevie Silver Award for Best New Product in the Transportation category in the 17th Annual American Business Awards.

“With 56% of all light vehicles predicted to be actively ‘connected’ by 2022*, this conference could not be timelier,” said Reviver Co-founder and CEO, Neville Boston. “The Rplate, which is right in the sweet spot of the connected car revolution, is poised to expand across the US, bringing new efficiencies and benefits to consumers, businesses and state agencies —from automated vehicle renewals, to parking and tolling, to safety and security.”

The Rplate, which is already on the roads in California and Arizona with more states to follow, transforms the 125-year old stamped metal license plate into a connected car platform to simplify daily life, with vast potential for future innovation and Smart Cities integration.

“We are also excited to have just been recognized by The American Business Awards with a Stevie Award for Best New Product,” continued Boston.  The American Business Awards are the U.S.A.'s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small.

Among the glowing comments from American Business Awards judges about the Rplate were:

“The Rplate’s digital license plate has global appeal…. Awesome new product to help automate DMV processes to help the consumer…truly a first of its kind…fantastic concept and solution - solves a lot of needs and streamlines existing processes.”

The Rplate can automate vehicle renewals, replacing legacy stickers with digital decals, and add new levels of personalization to the license plate, including promoting charitable causes, passion for a sports team, or even a child’s academic/athletic achievements. Other features include geofencing capabilities, trips taken, and vehicle miles traveled for business and/or governmental entities. Additional features will include Amber and weather alerts, automated parking, tolling, marketing capabilities, enhanced safety and security, and much more.

“Reviver is just the kind of leading IoT company we are thrilled to feature in the Connected Car Corner, by InstallerNet, at CONNECTIONS. Products like the Rplate are destined to play an important role in the emerging connected car market,” said Tony Frangiosa, CEO of InstallerNet, which focuses on supporting clients with their go-to-market strategies through nationwide installation services for both smart home and vehicle aftermarket IoT products.”

The Rplate will be on display and demonstrated in the Connected Car Corner, by InstallerNet, at CONNECTIONS™: The Premier Connected Home Conference, May 21-23, at the Hyatt Regency, San Francisco Airport.

*New connected car research from Parks Associates estimates the US will have 169 million actively connected cars, 56% of all light vehicles, by 2022.
