Tenacity Wins You Penthouse Apartments

Hi! Dave Benson here from Reaching Your Potential and in today’s episode of Telling It Straight is brought to you from the M1 Resort in Maroochydore on Sunshine Coast in Queensland.

The reason I’m sharing this sales tip from the balcony of this wonderful penthouse apartment is to talk about how tenacious sales people are the ones that get all the rewards. Tenacious sales people are the ones that don’t just take orders but they’re the ones that sell and sell in abundance.

The reason I’m in the penthouse apartment is because I was tenacious! 

My family and I checked in a few days ago and when walked in to our room we were very unimpressed. See, I like a good view. I like to sit and just watch people, watch the water and enjoy the relaxation. 

 We walked in to our apartment that we paid good money for and I was very disappointed not to have a fantastic view. So I went down the reception asked if there was any chance that we can get a room with a view. But they were fully booked out, except the penthouse, which of course I was happy to swap into! Unfortunately they would charge me an additional premium of $950.00 a night though!

So what I did was overcome their objection by providing service instead of negotiating on price. 

So I instantly had the though, every hotel loves good reviews! So I went back and offered them a great review, a video customer testimony and share about the M1 Resort on my Telling It Straight episode! 

And they agreed!! 

Why…? Because I was tenacious not to take no for an answer! 

In sales, your job is to overcome customer objections! How, with creative thinking and creative ways to ensure you’re not giving away price, instead you’re giving reasons why your vehicle and service is an attractive proposition for them. 

So this week, be tenacious about overcoming your customer’s objections.
