already have had my plan in place, and now it is time is to implement it....the atmosphere would be one of pure energy and excitement....an enviroment with team players so dedicated and fired up, that they could not wait until the one year anniversary to say...."WOW" we've set the bar high.....now lets set it higher!
Perfect Brian...and I firmly believe those who do not embrace social medial WILL in fact be left behind!!!!

Thanks Tom...I agree... I have a group in Facebook, called Carbucks...A Coffeehouse for Car Guys and Car Gals... I have a strictly enforced policy there...No Pitch Zone...All post which I consider to be "Self-Promoting" are removed.  They are usually placed on the wall by those who still do not "get" social media and it benefits...Becoming a trusted friend first to your community and the residual business just follows!!!!

"We all know that we cannot trust people to always do their job."  If I can't trust people in my own company to always do their job, then why in the hell would I trust your people? ....and If I can't trust you and your people to always do your job, then why would I hire you? I appreciate your wanting to use this thread to "run your commercial" , many vendors do, but to presume something on all of our behalf and speak as if speaking for all of us is a poor marketing strategy in my opinion.

Respectfully,

Tom

I would first sign up for EasyCare Special Owner Service and Co-Video. We all know that we cannot trust people to always do their job. Easycare SOS is a customer retention process that is people and process free and Co-Video is the latest way to connect with customers via video. Retaining customers means success. Also i know that my Co-video is something that will set me apart from my competition. Love the question.

Hello Nancy, you sound like you are quite forward in your thinking! If you're OK with it, I would really like to have a copy of your 'nice' article or tell me where I can find it.

Thanks,

Al

Hire people with the 3 C's- Character, Competency and Chemistry with the emphasis on the 1st and 3rd traits. There's a lot of things that you can train people to do but being nice is not one of them. I would like to take credit for this thought but it's actually part of a project that I am currently working on.

It was here in dE in a group called Where oh Where have the car salesman gone?  I guess it was spawned from a seminar I attended where I was just surround by nice people and nice gestures...It made me think!  What a wonderful world it could be if we were all just a little nicer....

Great question... Spend my time and energy getting and keeping the best people I could.

HI Craig,

Thought this might help you train your people. I use StumbleUpon (app) to research sites rather than just Google key phrases. It is also good for the "ADD" sales people that just don't know what to look for. All I did to find this was go to the search key in Stumble and type in "marketing." After that, you literally stumble upon some very valuable training material for your staff. Enjoy and happy hunting!

Make sure all of my people had Facebook accounts, and I was the Admin.  Market only through the internet, social media and e-mail, outside of normal prospecting efforts, and make sure I had enough inventory for the sales explosion.
Sharp answer Simon and to the point... People are your business... Not the building, not the cars, not the marketing strategies...That is all secondary...Manage your business with people and percentages and you can't lose!
