For The Dealer Resource Group to continue growing and serving the needs of our client dealers, we are always seeking top automotive talent who desire the freedom and success of being a top level trainer.  Simply being able to deliver material in front of a room is not enough.  Our trainers are the best of the best.  That's what we want and that's what our dealers deserve.

We are not currently looking for those who would like to try training.  While there is a world of talent out there who could become great trainers, our needs are currently different.  We are specifically targeting the elite few who have already established themselves as valued trainers and want to take the next step toward independence.

 

You must be an automotive expert.  As a minimum, former dealers, GM's, GSM's and F&I Directors are encouraged to apply.  But, you must separate yourself from the ordinary or the typical.  If words like dynamic, cutting edge, leader, or stand up individual are used to describe you, there may be a great fit.

 

If you would like the freedom of running your own show with the complete support of a company behind you, we may want to get to know each other.  You can control your own income by scheduling when and where you'd like to work.  Some of our trainers do not like to travel and they book themselves close to home.  Other trainers do a bit of travel and a bit of local.  The point is, it's your choice.

To pass through our screening process, you have to blow us away. If you do, we stand behind you 100% and support all of your efforts to generate the level of income you deserve.


  • You must be a former GM, GSM, F&I Director, or Dealer. We want trainers that can actually bring value to the dealer rather than just have the ability to stand in front of a room and speak. We want trainers who are sincerely interested in providing our client dealers with the best possible candidates rather than graduating just numbers. Our people are the elite of the auto industry – Award Winning Managers, Decorated Trainers, and Recognized Experts, including a former Trainer of the Year.

    Our dealers expect it. We demand it. To become a trainer for us, it takes a lot more than a good resume. It requires a commitment to excellence. Our trainers are expected to be experts in the auto industry, but that just gets you an interview.

    If you truly feel that you fit in the above category, and are willing to give world class effort to change people’s lives, we need to begin our process. There are three parts to our evaluation.

    1. You send a complete resume with a letter describing a bit about yourself and why you feel that you are an elite trainer. Once we receive and review it, you’ll be contacted for a preliminary interview.
    2. After the preliminary interview, if qualified, you will be scheduled for a final interview to determine the last step in the process.
    3. If selected, we will begin promoting you to the world while you market to your dealer base. 

    This is for trainers who are less than satisfied with their current affiliation, you’ll understand what we mean when we tell you some of the things that we do to make your opportunities more profitable and make you more successful with your own dealers. We offer:
  • No per student fees.
  • No low expense limits.
  • No fee to sign with us. 
  • No booking fees.

What does this mean to you?  Well, if you work 40 weeks as some companies project and you pay an average of only $500 in fees, we'll put an extra $20,000 in your pocket.  If you are averaging $3,000 per week gross, that means you can work up to 7 weeks less to make the same money.  It means you have options.
