My recent vehicle puchase...If you want to sell more product or service...quit focusing on the sale

Recently I purchased a YUKON for my wife. I dealt directly with the DP & FI guys. Great experience overall...considering?

No 'Thank you note', no 'Service or Parts Reminder's', no Coupons or discount's for anything? Absolutely nothing for follow up. Instead of focusing on the sale; shouldn't we focus on the relatonship? IMHO!

I love being a techno geek now!

When computers first started making their way in the 80's, I abolished it, including my college days during floppy discs. Then came "The Worldwide Web' Still in retail mid-20's and still the youngest selling Bick/Isuzu as NCM, still blown off. I moved all the Buicks to the back & drove all the Rodeo's & Trooper's up to the front....guess what? That's right, it worked...what a miracle. Dealership Shrinkage

The number of new-car dealerships in the U.S. declined some more in the first half of 2010. The dealership count fell to 18,223 after 258 showrooms shut their doors between Jan.1 and July 1, accoring to Detroit-based Urban Science.

Connecting now-a-day's.

Funny thing...a gentleman the other day posted something about how ever since he joined DE that a huge number of people have not responded to his connection requests. I echo'd his statement and looked today to see how many connection requests I have sent since the first of the Aug. and found 11 outstanding requests.
