We really do have much to be thankful for this year. I am truly thankful for my family and friends, my health and my business opportunities. But that is not the point of this post this morning. As we all get ready for our Holiday celebrations, take just a moment to reflect on what social media and the web have done for our businesses this last year. Sites like this one, DealerElite and others have made conncting with our peers around the country easy and make picking up great ideas easy as well. It seems that I see a new idea several times in a day in the last few months. Before the advent of these social sites I would see a great idea once a week perhaps. (If I was lucky.)

Sharing with people that have similar goals and dreams has elevated my game. My Dad always wanted me to be around people that I could look up to. Sometimes in the real world that lofty goal is limited, on the pages of social media that goal is achieved several times over, and if I feel the person is not worthy of my time I can block their negitive content with a click.

There are no links to my ad pages today. No hidden or even overt agenda in the post. Just a heartfelt post to those who write in these pages and the others I visit daily: Thank you for being part of a world that allows us to grow in ways not imagined, at least by me, last year.
