Building a Business within a Business ll

Yes.... it is true.  You have those things you need to do each morning to get ready for your day.  It is no different than starting your day with positive action at the automobile dealership.

Go ahead, have that cup of coffee. Sit down at your desk and write your to do!  Make sure that it includes the following:

  • Review of CRM duties.
  • Read and respond to all of your emails.
  • Special look at all previous write-ups.
  • Review with your manager or team leader all demo's that did not result in a write up.
  • Send out cards for any reason.  (Follow up, Thank you, Birthday, Holiday.)
  • Walk the pre-owned inventory.  Knowing your vehicles well is the key to setting appointments on the phone or the internet.  It also helps your walk around and your closing average.
  • Walk your new car inventory.  Pay special attention to those new units that have arrived.  It really bothers me when I miss a sale because I did not know the unit a prospect wanted came in.... and someone else sold it!

These are just a few ideas of how you can make the most of your day.  Most sales people will not do this.  They show up for work and just take ups.... working only when the schedule designates.  A TruePro will do more.  Starting each and every day with a routine and ignoring the "schedule" will pay big rewards in a very short time.

Do you really want to make a secure and comfortable living in the a...  You have to do the little things you don't need to do... They will make a difference when you can't do anything else about it.

See you next time.... lets talk about customer follow up!
